I tracked Lighter closely, and that valuation was absolutely absurd. Thrilled to see the market catching up now at $1.70. Good but not great: Long BTC at $67k, ETH at $2k, taking profits at $78k-$80k. Then losing those gains trying to catch a higher low on BTC/ETH at $73k. What's next? Honestly, I'm shocked Saylor put himself in this position with $STRC and $MSTR. My mistake was assuming the sell-off was already priced into $BTC around $73k. Once the $74k low sweep was taken out and it didn't trade like a sweep, I should have abandoned that setup. But there are no "should haves" in this game. Move forward. I'm 50/50 on whether $60k holds, with a slight bias toward breaking and losing that level. I've grown increasingly confident it would hold as the yearly low, but now there's a real fundamental reason for February/March buyers to de-risk ahead of Saylor (it's happening, just look at $IBIT trends). Add 6%+ stock declines and you have the technical setup for something worse. BTC trades technically. To make matters worse, there's no fundamental catalyst for strong Bitcoin buying right now unless something new emerges. I'm not saying we'll definitely break to $55k, but I am saying there's now a reason for it. Maybe $60k buyers hold firm. We'll see. Base case: retest $60k, slight bias toward a break to $55k. Short-term, there are trades on lower timeframes. Day trade only. Size appropriately. Put sales for my options audience seem like the default for $IBIT and $BTC.
